Felix and the Hidden Treasure – The Film’s Original Soundtrack Available on Nearly 100 Online Platforms

On the eve of the international release of its fourth animated feature film, Felix and the Hidden Treasure, 10th Ave Productions is happy to announce that the film’s original soundtrack is now available online on nearly 100 platforms, thanks to its partnership with Audiogram.
After receiving requests locally and internationally, 10th Ave Editions has chosen to work alongside a leading Quebec music company, Audiogram, to launch this international offering of thirteen pieces by composer Gille Léveillé, including an unpublished piece performed entirely on the piano. “With its symphonic-style orchestration, the Felix and the Hidden Treasure playlist is brimming with musical selections whose rich emotions and soaring artistry are worth listening to over and over. One can never get enough of Gilles Léveillé’s themes, even after hearing them hundreds of times, as we did while we were working on our family adventure story,” says producer Nancy Florence Savard of 10th Ave. “Launching this project internationally along with the various versions of the film is a wonderful joint premiere, for which we wanted to partner with a strong Quebec company. That’s why we chose Audiogram.”
“We’re delighted with this new online distribution agreement. 10th Ave is a leader in the animation field. Music is always an integral part of their productions, and we’re proud to be able to make it accessible on every online platform and in every territory.” – Philippe Archambault, General Manager, Audiogram.
“Composing the music for the animated film Felix and the Hidden Treasure was an enriching and really stimulating experience. The film’s script enabled me to create a symphonic soundtrack with a scope and rhythmic urgency that was worthy of an action movie. But more than that, the film takes us through a whole range of emotions, making it possible to compose musical themes that evoke the situations or different characters, such as young Felix who sets out to find his father, the emotional scenes, scheming Morgäa and a love story from long ago, the mysterious island and its hidden powers.” – Gilles Léveillé, composer and arranger.
Felix and the Hidden Treasure tells the story of twelve-year-old Felix, whose father disappeared at sea two years ago. During his mother’s absence, Felix, convinced that his father is alive, sets out to find him, helped by Tom, an elderly retired sailor; Rover, a cat who acts like a dog; and Squawk, Tom’s one-legged parrot and guide. Together, after a difficult journey, the friends arrive at Darkshadow Island, ruled by the megalomaniacal Morgäa, possessor of a priceless treasure. Felix and the Hidden Treasure is directed by Nicola Lemay from a screenplay by Marc Robitaille.
