Quebec City, August 12, 2026 – 10^th Ave Productions is proud to announce that its latest film, Lydia et le Vaisseau des tempêtes (international title: Lydia and the Mist Rider) opens today in French cinemas. Released in partnership with European distributor Eurozoom, the film will be accessible to audiences of all ages in 76 theatres across France. This is an opportunity for the French public to discover the onscreen characters of this fantasy adventure, while recognizing the performers who have lent their voices to the project, including Sophie Nélisse, Anthony Kavanagh, Lindz Dantiste, Eveline Gélinas, Alexandre Bacon, Guy Nadon, and numerous others.

This release marks the third collaboration between 10^th Ave Productions and  Eurozoom, which has already participated in the French releases of several animated features made by the Quebec production company, including Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly & Simon and Katak the Brave Beluga. This close relationship reflects a shared commitment to showcasing Quebec-made animated films for French audiences.

The film is directed by Émilie Rosas, Philippe Arseneau Bussières and Nancy Florence Savard, who have united their visions to bring this fantasy world to life. Émilie Rosas also wrote the screenplay for the feature film, while Philippe Arseneau Bussières was the art director, helping to create the visual identity of this animated adventure. Nancy Florence Savard also served as producer of the film, pursuing her commitment to produce original and ambitious animated stories that are deeply rooted in Quebec know-how.
