Katee Julien lends her magnificent voice for the opening song, and Mario Saint-Amand sings L\u2019amiti\u00e9 c\u2019est sacr\u00e9, accompanied by Martin Fontaine.<\/p>\n<p>The story of this 30-minute 3D animated film takes place during the first-ever Christmas Eve celebrations at Ch\u00e2teau Frontenac. At the very moment when the chef discovers that the little sister of his young assistant, Antoine, is secretly staying in the kitchen, the centrepiece of the inaugural Christmas Eve dinner is ruined. Thanks to his young assistant\u2019s ingenuity, the great chef is able present to his distinguished guests a majestic cake worthy of starting a tradition.<\/p>\n<p>Like the previous films,\u00a0<em>La l\u00e9gende du sapin de No\u00ebl (The legend of the Christmas tree)<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Histoire du bas de No\u00ebl (The Christmas stocking tale)<\/em>, the architecture, sets, props, and costumes are inspired directly by Quebec\u2019s heritage. \u201cThe artists have created an extremely rich variety of textures,\u201d comments director Nancy Savard. \u201cOnly human talent can produce an effect like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe animation for this new film is the most refined yet,\u201d admits Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Lessard de 6ixdegr\u00e9s. \u201cThe teams are proud of this 3D animated film made entirely in the Quebec City region.\u201d \u201cAnd they have reason to be happy with the result,\u201d adds Savard, producer-director for 10e Ave. \u201cWith the addition of Olivier Auriol\u2019s music and the sound design by J\u00e9r\u00f4me Boiteau\u2019s team, I believe that we finally have the know-how to take on the challenge of feature-length 3D animated films.\u00a0<em>La tradition de la b\u00fbche de No\u00ebl<\/em>\u00a0will, we hope, convince our partners and investors of the maturity of our creative teams.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>10th Ave<\/strong>\u2019s objective is still to provide TV viewers with a made in Quebec Christmas film every day during the holiday season. Thus, T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec will broadcast\u00a0<em>La l\u00e9gende du sapin de No\u00ebl<\/em>\u00a0on 22 December,\u00a0<em>La tradition de la b\u00fbche de No\u00ebl<\/em>\u00a0on 23 December, and\u00a0<em>Histoire du bas de No\u00ebl<\/em>\u00a0on 24 December at 5:30 PM. For Quebec City\u2019s 400th anniversary,<strong>10th Ave<\/strong>\u00a0plans to offer a gift box of its tales made in Quebec.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10th Ave<\/strong>\u00a0continues to create\u00a0<em>La collection des contes classiques de No\u00ebl (The collection of classic Christmas tales)<\/em>; it will soon be starting production on its fourth tale,\u00a0<em>Le baiser sous le gui (The kiss under the mistletoe)<\/em>, a script by Andr\u00e9e Lambert.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10th Ave Productions<\/strong>\u00a0is a production company located in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, outside of Quebec City.
