{"id":2612,"date":"2013-10-30T13:00:28","date_gmt":"2013-10-30T18:00:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/10ave.com\/2013\/10\/10th-ave-leader-in-100-canadian-animated-features-with-its-second-film-the-rooster-of-st-victor\/"},"modified":"2018-10-31T23:01:10","modified_gmt":"2018-11-01T04:01:10","slug":"10th-ave-leader-in-100-canadian-animated-features-with-its-second-film-the-rooster-of-st-victor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/10ave.com\/en\/2013\/10\/10th-ave-leader-in-100-canadian-animated-features-with-its-second-film-the-rooster-of-st-victor\/","title":{"rendered":"10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave leader in 100% Canadian animated features with its second film: The Rooster of St-Victor"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>St-Augustin-De-Desmaures, 30 October 2013 \u2014 Today, during Cartoon Connection Canada, 10th Ave Productions confirms its leadership position in 100% Canadian animated feature films with production of its second feature film: <strong><em>The Rooster of St-Victor.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong><em>The Rooster of St-Victor<\/em><\/strong>, a free adaptation of the book <strong><em>The Rooster of San Vito<\/em><\/strong> by its author, Johanne Mercier, is the first 100% Canadian animated feature produced in French and 100% made in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>During a press briefing at the Loews H\u00f4tel Le Concorde, Nancy Florence Savard, president of 10th Ave and producer of the bucolic animated comedy <strong><em>The Rooster of St-Victor<\/em><\/strong>, with screenplay by Johanne Mercier and Pierre Greco and directed by Greco, presented the official poster for the movie and a first TV spot still in production.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cCartoon Connection is a unique animation event in Qu\u00e9bec, and 10th Ave, as a flagship company for the event, felt it was appropriate to unveil this project at this wonderful congress,\u201d stated Savard, who is very proud of the work done in all the Qu\u00e9bec studios, Frima FX, Studio \u00c9l\u00e9ment, Studio Expression et Studio SFX, who lent their support to this animated feature, the second produced by 10th Ave, 100% financed in Canada.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition to celebrating the launch of promotional activities for its second animated feature, 10th Ave celebrated its 15th anniversary this week. Its business plan has had a long-term view: 12 years to make <strong><em>The Legend of Sarila<\/em><\/strong>, 8 years for <strong><em>The Rooster of St-Victor<\/em><\/strong>, and there are five more projects in different stages of development.
