The film will be released theatrically in coming months in the United Kingdom, France, Spain and the USA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With its theatrical release in Quebec coming this February 26, the film has already been selected for three Canadian film festivals and will represent the country in Telefilm Canada\u2019s Perspective Canada at the European Film Market (EFM) in Berlin.&nbsp;<strong><em>Felix and the Treasure of Morg\u00e4a<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;will help relaunch cinemas at home and abroad. When Quebec Premier Fran\u00e7ois Legault announced that cinemas were re-opening, he encouraged the population to take advantage of March Break to go back to movie theatres: \u201cYou can take this opportunity to go see Quebec films, [\u2026] like the animated feature&nbsp;<strong><em>Felix and the Treasure of Morg\u00e4a<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Nicola Lemay. So Felix sets out to find his dad, accompanied by Old Tom, a retired sailor; Squawk, a one-legged parrot; and Rover, a cat who acts like a dog. He worked on storyboards for the successful animated feature films&nbsp;<strong><em>Rio<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><em>Epic<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;for the famous Blue Sky studio. He also directed three short films for the National Film Board of Canada:&nbsp;<strong><em>No\u00ebl, No\u00ebl<\/em><\/strong>;&nbsp;<strong><em>Les yeux noirs (Black Eyes)<\/em><\/strong>and&nbsp;<strong><em>Nul poisson o\u00f9 aller (No Fish to Go).<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;He has won numerous prestigious awards, including the Fipreci Critics\u2019 Prize at the Annecy Animated Film Festival. For the past eight years, Nicola has worked with the 10<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Ave Productions team.&nbsp;<strong><em>Felix and the Treasure of Morg\u00e4a<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;is based on Nicola\u2019s original idea.
