{"id":7651,"date":"2025-04-24T09:33:27","date_gmt":"2025-04-24T14:33:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/10ave.com\/?p=7651"},"modified":"2025-05-01T12:34:05","modified_gmt":"2025-05-01T17:34:05","slug":"gratitude-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/10ave.com\/en\/2025\/04\/gratitude-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Evening of Gratitude"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Quebec City, April 24, 2025 &#8211; Yesterday at the Quebec Garrison Club, an Evening of Gratitude was held \u2013 a cocktail reception marking years of outstanding collaboration from five members of the animation team at 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave, a film and television production company in the Quebec City region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion, 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave founder Nancy Florence Savard paid homage to Philippe Areseneau Bussi\u00e8res for his 25 years of valued collaboration on many of the company\u2019s productions, including 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave\u2019s very first production: the collection<strong><em>Holiday Tales<\/em><\/strong>, the first 3D animated Christmas specials in Quebec, which aired on T\u00e9l\u00e9-Qu\u00e9bec from 2002. In addition to 3 tales of the collection <strong><em>Holiday Tales<\/em><\/strong>, Philippe Areseneau Bussi\u00e8res was art director on <strong><em>The Legend of Sarila<\/em><\/strong>, the first 100% Canadian 3D animated feature film, which was released in 2013. After that came <strong><em>Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly &amp; Simon<\/em><\/strong>; <strong><em>Felix and the Treasure of&nbsp; Morg\u00e4a<\/em><\/strong>; <strong><em>Katak, the Brave Beluga<\/em><\/strong>; and the upcoming <strong><em>Lydia and the Mist Rider<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another team member honoured at the Evening of Gratitude, Ginette Poulin, executive producer and head of administration at 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave, also received a commemorative coin marking her 15 years of contributions to the group. \u201cGinette arrived in Quebec City at just the right time, as we were working on our first major project. With her solid experience, she helped us to structure the firm soundly, so that it could grow and take flight. Today, as we complete production on our sixth animated feature, we can say, Mission accomplished, Ginette,\u201d happily proclaimed the producer and director at 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave, Nancy Florence Savard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was on the recommendation of animation director Yann Tremblay, supported by studio executive producer Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Tremblay, that 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave Animation came into being in October 2018. After <strong><em>The Rooster of St. Victor<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>Mission Kathmandu: The Adventures of Nelly &amp; Simon<\/em><\/strong>, which were produced with help from a service company, 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave set up its own premises on the Grande-All\u00e9e in Quebec City.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joining these two long-time animation collaborators, Yann Tremblay and Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Tremblay, is Chantale Boudreau, head of texturing. These three teammates have been working on 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave\u2019s productions for over ten years now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn 2018, they were the catalysts for the establishment of the 10<sup>th<\/sup> Ave Animation studio.
